Login to Dropbox Account

Create a New App

Step 1: Visit the Dropbox App Console and click on Create App button

Step 2: Select Dropbox API and then Full Dropbox type which allows our plugin to access to all files and folders in your Dropbox

Step 3: Name your app

You can follow Developer branding guide to choose a proper name for your app.

Note that if you have both personal and business accounts, you have to choose which account owns the app. After that, you will be asked to log into that account.

Get App Key

After completing the above steps, you will be redirected to your App Console where you can configure the created app’s settings. Under the Settings tab, you will see the App Key.

Generate an Access Token

From the App Console screen, you will also see the OAuth 2 section. Simply click on Generated access token button to create a token which can be used to access your account via the API.

Go back to our extension’s settings page and enter your App Key and the generated Access Token as follows:

Add domains

In addition, you need to enter the domain(s) of your sites in which you install and activate our plugin on into Chooser/Saver domains field. This ensures that our extension will work properly on your sites when integrating with other plugins, e.g. WooCommerce.
