Password Protect WordPress: Caching Plugins & Cache Servers Integration

In this article, we will show you how to configure the following cache plugins to make them work properly with our Password Protect WordPress (PPWP) plugin.

W3 Total Cache

Step 1: Under Admin Dashboard, go to Performance > Cookie Groups

Step 2: Create a new group for our plugin’s cookies like the following information.

  • Group name: password_protect_wordpress
  • Cookies:

For Free version:

pda_protect_password
wp-postpass-role_*

For Pro version:

pda_protect_password
wp-goldpass-pagepost_*

Please remember to untick Cache checkbox and click on “Save Settings & Purge Caches” button to finish. If you configure it correctly, you will see a successful notification under our plugin’s Setting Page as below.

WP Super Cache & WP Fastest Cache

Our plugin can work correctly with these plugins without any other configurations. The only thing you have to do is purging all page caches and then re-activating our plugin.
