PDA Gold and the GDPR

What is GDPR?

GDPR stands for the General Data Protection Regulation. It is a regulation in European Union (EU) law on data protection and privacy of all individuals in the EU and EEA areas. GDPR takes effect on May 25th, 2018.

While the GDPR regulations were designed to give EU citizens control over their personal data, it impacts every large and small business on the web no matter where they are. If your website is processing or collecting data from EU visitors, then it falls under GDPR regulations.
